: Biography :

Fourth-generation San Diego artist Sean McMullen photographs regularly at local venues such as The Casbah, where he is resident club photographer, The House of Blues, SOMA, Cricket Wireless & San Diego State Ampitheaters, Anthology, The Belly Up, Bar Eleven, 'Til Two Club, and Dizzy's, as well as regional music festivals including Coachella, Austin City Limits, All Tomorrow's Parties, and the San Diego Street Scene. Sean ias also ocntributed to NBC 7's Sound Diego, Where Magazine, San Diego CityBeat, Urbanist San Diego, San Diego Magazine, Downtown News, and San Diego Dialed In. National publications include Inked, Downbeat Magazine and All About Jazz.

In contrast, McMullen's work in Baja California over two decades offers a vivid glimpse into every-day culture across the border, and he has been privately commissioned to capture the daily lives of Baja field workers that produce much of Southern California's cilantro, green onions, and radishes—three of Sean's favorite ingredients.

Recent Exhibitions: Che Rock & Roll Weekend, featuring the live music photography of David Doyle & Sean McMullen.

Current projects include design & prototyping of limited edition "boxed set" art books, planned for release in the Fall of 2011, as well as development of a new online store to launch this summer.
